Who am I?
Simon James Beech, born in Liverpool, Merseyside in 1969.
My family moved to Wrexham, North Wales in 1976 and I have lived here since.
I have spend most of my working life, employed within the motorcycle industry and in sales management positions. During the last few years I have focused my attention on building and maintaining several websites and blogs, aimed primarily at motorcyclist.
What interests me?
Current affairs, both home and abroad, are of particular interest to me. I follow political and economic news and events closely. I have, what some may describe, as passionate views on the social policies of the country. I Frequently feel compelled, to respond to newspaper articles, news reports or to email the office of the Prime minister. We are fortunate to live in a democratic society with freedom of speech.
Personal views.
Race , religion and sexual preference are a matter for the individual. We are all different and free to choose our own path.
Why did I decide to write a book?
My first blog “Motorbike Heaven” told the story of my early years with bikes. The site became popular and the subscribers, enjoyed reading my stories. I decided to write them as a book. The blog expanded to become “Biker Social” a social website for motorcyclists and continues to be a popular membership site.
I have always enjoyed reading, my preference being biography, history and factual books. I have combined my enjoyment of reading with my passion for motorcycles and my first book was born.
My motorbike Tales is the story of my early years riding motorbikes. A story of humour, and in many places, stupidity. A typical teenager, enjoying his first taste of independence and freedom.
What next?
I have two more books and a website in production at this time. They will appear on this site once completed.
